Now, the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid and Accord Plug-In Hybrid add a pair of new hybrid options to the latest generation of Accord mid-size sedans. Restyled and updated for the 2013 model year in gas-only form, the Accord line expands for the 2014 model year to include both a standard hybrid and the company’s first-ever plug-in hybrid, with an electric range far greater than the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid.

Honda Accord plug-in Hybrid is already on-sale in US however, this new Accord Hybrid is a non-plug-in electric vehicle which stands out when compared to the plug-in version thanks to its front grille-mounted blue trim and blue-hued headlights.

The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid will go on sale in California and other markets early in 2013, to be followed a few months later by national rollout of the 2014 Accord Hybrid model without a plug. No prices have been released so far.

2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Price :
2014 Honda Accord Hybrid to the price, we do not get accurate information. If you want to know the price of 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, follow the development of our blog. We will provide information about the price of this car as soon as possible to you loyal readers of our blog.

2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Interior :
Sophisticated and contemporary, the redesigned 2013 Accord Sedan interior serves as the ideal basis for the 2014 Accord PHEV interior. Like the Fit EV, the Accord PHEV features a next-gen Honda Bio Fabric seat material, a new fabric that offers conventional softness and durability, but with reduced manufacturing environmental impact. The interior features several brighter trim accents and is available in gray to compliment the choice of three exterior colors. Standard equipment also includes a rearview camera, LED head and tail lights, blind spot warning, along with heated front and rear seats.

The styling of the hybrid 2014 Accords is largely that of the redesigned 2013 Accord gasoline models, but with a different grille and front bumper, special aerodynamic wheels, and a few detail differences like LED taillights. It’s a clean, handsome sedan very much in the mold of Accords past, and we give Honda’s designers special praise for keeping the beltline low–improving the driver’s rearward visibility and making it possible for shorter rear-seat passengers to see out the windows.

2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Exterior :
The Plug-in Hybrid looks much like other Honda Accords. Distinguishing features include an additional “fuel cap” above the front-left wheel where the charging cable is inserted. The Plug-in’s 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with aerodynamic covers that, while stylish, also sit flush with the tires, making them susceptible to close encounters of the curb kind.

Sophisticated styling and unabashed smarts come together in the 2014 Accord Hybrid. It’s similar in look and feel to the all-new 2013 Accord Sedan. And it joins the 2014 Accord Plug-In Hybrid Sedan in incorporating Honda’s first two-motor hybrid system.

This innovative approach teams a new Earth Dreams™ Technology 2.0-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine with a powerful 124-kilowatt (KW) traction electric motor. The result is a gas-sipping Accord Hybrid with anticipated class-leading[1] fuel economy ratings of 49/45/47 mpg (city/hwy/combined).

Scheduled to go on sale in fall 2013, the new Accord Hybrid will be proudly manufactured at Honda’s Marysville, Ohio, auto plant, making it the third hybrid model built by Honda in America[3] and the first in Ohio. 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Engine :
The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor. Together, they send a total of 196 horsepower to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). A 6.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric motor.

The Accord Plug-In Hybrid offers three driving modes: full electric, gas/electric (switches when battery capacity depletes to a specific threshold) and gasoline (for higher speeds or under high demand for acceleration). Additionally, two sub-modes tailor the Accord Plug-In’s hybrid mode. “HV” acts as a conventional hybrid, blending gasoline and electric power for optimum fuel efficiency, while “HV Charge” does the same, while feeding energy back into the battery.
