2015 BMW X6 Review, Price and Pictures – Welcome to Neocarsuv.com, we will provide the latest information about the BMW X6 Concept. 2015 BMW X6 changes is one brand new car from Audi that was released in 2015. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the 2015 BMW X6 Release Date.

Despite its controversial styling, the BMW X6 delivers unexpected performance for a car its size and weight. It’s powered by either a turbocharged inline six-cylinder or twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, both of which are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive. The X6 accelerates and handles like a small sports sedan, even with its unavoidable heft. It’s expensive, though, and its practicality remains an issue, due to tight rear seat and cargo space.

With the unveiling of the redesigned 2014 BMW X5 at the Frankfurt Motor Show last fall, it was only a matter of time before the X5?s “Sports Activity Coupe” sibling got a similar makeover.

The 2015 BMW X6 gets many of the same features as the redesigned X5, as the German carmaker takes an evolutionary approach to this chimeric SUV.

At first glance, it’s hard to tell a 2015 X6 apart from its predecessor. it gets the same front fascia as the X5, which manages to be significantly different from the previous version, yet look exactly the same.

Other changes include the addition of the front-intake Air Curtains and front-fender Air Breathers already seen on other BMW models. They improve the X6?s aerodynamic efficiency while adding a little visual flair.

It’s a prettier picture, mechanically. Despite its rhino-like 5241-pound weight, the X6 drives like a much smaller sports sedan. Steering effort is heavy and requires a deliberate hand, but the X6 responds quickly and without drama. Part of the credit goes to the xDrive all-wheel drive and a torque-vectoring system that can vary the power between each of the rear wheels to stabilize the X6 or engage in lurid power slides if you turn off the stability control. Grip from the wide Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires registers 0.89 g on the skidpad, which will send passengers reaching for overhead grab handles that aren’t there. That the X6 achieves these numbers with a supple ride is even more remarkable considering the stiff and heavy run-flat tires on 20-inch wheels.

2015 BMW X6 to the price, we do not get accurate information. If you want to know the price of 2015 BMW X6, follow the development of our blog. We will provide information about the price of this car as soon as possible to you loyal readers of our blog.

2015 BMW X6 Interior

As with other recent BMW vehicles, the X6 is available in a range of trim lines, including the xLine and M Sport line. Each adds a themed package of appearance elements, ranging from refined to sporty. Optional interior upgrades include six colors of Dakota leather, with Cognac and Coral Red new for 2015.

Cabin materials and interior design are lifted directly from the X6’s progenitor, the X5. The clues giving away that you’re in an X6 xDrive50i and not an X5 xDrive48i are the restricted rear view, the two-person accommodations in the back seat, the additional brawn from the turbo V-8, and the extra $10,450 missing from your bank account.

2015 BMW X6 Exterior

The 2015 BMW X6’s exterior is lightly redesigned for the new model year, offering a fresh take on the fluid, coupe-like theme with updated front and rear ends. The familiar BMW kidney grille is highlighted by an X-shaped contour and flanked by large twin-circle LED headlights up front, with wide, large air inlets lending an aggressive look, refined just a touch with chrome inserts. Adaptive LED headlights are optional. At the rear, the new design continues to emphasize the width of the X6, with three-dimensional LED light strips, L-shaped rear lights, and, like the front, matte silver underbody accents. Two new colors are available for 2015 as well: Dark Olive and Flamenco Red Metallic.

2015 BMW X6 Engine

Mechanically, the X6 also gets some upgrades and new options for the 2015 model year, including its first rear-drive variant, the X6 sDrive35i. Powered by the same 300-horsepower, 300-pound-foot, 3.0-liter turbocharged in-line six-cylinder found in the all-wheel-drive X6 xDrive35i and using the same eight-speed transmission found throughout the X6 range (aside from the monstrous X6 M), its only real difference is the lack of drive to the front wheels. The X6 xDrive50i’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine gains 50 horsepower, now rated at 450 horsepower.

Aimed in a straight line, the 400-hp, twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 launches the X6 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds a tick or two slower than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Infiniti FX50. Power is delivered smoothly and massively throughout the rev range. Turbo lag is absent, and the V-8 gives no audible hint that it’s being force-fed air.

Buyers can also choose the X6 xDrive50i and its 4.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8. Only available with all-wheel drive, the V8 is good for 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque, compared to the 2014 model’s 400 hp and 450 lb-ft. BMW quotes a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.8 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than last year.

For 2015, drivers don’t have to rely solely on their right feet to control that performance. On the one hand, BMW’s Eco Pro driving mode encourages efficient driving, while a Dynamic Performance Control system finely controls the distribution of power, for better handling.
