2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo Review, Release and Price – Welcome to Neocarsuv.Com, we will provide the latest information about the Nissan GT-R Nismo Redesign. 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo Concept is one brand new car from Nissan that was released in 2015. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo Quotes.
The Nismo version is based on the 2015 GT-R and it gained a series of updates that transformed the GT-R into a real track machine, while keeping it perfectly suitable for the road. This is a delicate balance for any automaker, let alone Nissan, who does not have tons of experience in developing high end supercars.
After cutting its teeth on the Nissan 370Z and the Juke, Nissan’s recently unleashed in-house tuner NISMO screwed up the courage to take on Godzilla. The resultant GT-R NISMO, which debuts at the Tokyo show, is essentially a weapons-grade, more-hard-core version of what’s already one of the most extreme cars on the planet.
Sales of the GT-R NISMO will begin in February in Japan, but we remain about a year away from U.S. deliveries. It seems the wait will be worth it, in no small part because output is up from 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft to 595 horsepower and “more than” 480 lb-ft. The bumps come courtesy of revised intake and exhaust systems, reworked ignition timing, and larger turbochargers swiped from the GT-R GT3 race car. Peak horsepower is available at 6800 rpm versus 6400 in the regular car. Nissan coyly admits that it could extract even more power from this new setup, but say it drew a line to prevent the transmission from returning itself to its constituent bits. The health of the NISMO powerplant is ensured by a new higher-capacity oil pump.

2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo Exterior
On the exterior, Nismo worked on improving the car’s aerodynamics, giving it lower front and rear bumpers that were revised for aerodynamic efficiency, sill side skirts and a huge wing on the rear. On the inside, the Nismo GT-R gets special suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats with red stitching, plus a redesigned steering wheel, pedals, gauges and gear knob.
When compared to a base GT-R, the new Nismo version will gain a distinct look, thanks to a series of carbon-fiber elements front fenders, hood and trunk lid and a body kit that includes new front and rear bumpers and skirts. The carbon-fiber bits, according to Nissan, help reduce the car’s total weight by about 143 pounds.
Also distinguishing the Nismo model form the other GT-Rs of the world is a new front fascia that is widened and a tapered rear bumper help reduce the total drag back down to the 0.26 Cd of the base GT-R, despite all of the additions.
As seen from the first photos, it looks like there will be a new front splitter and a massive rear spoiler that will improve downforce. Speaking of downforce, the GT-R Nismo has plenty of it, as it creates a total of 220 pounds of it at 186 mph.
-. Notable new body elements are the rear trunk-mounted spoiler, the front carbon bumper and its lower front undercover.
-. Together, the front bumper, engine undercover strake and carbon rear spoiler increase downforce, generating an additional 100kg (at 300km/h) compared to the standard GT-R model. A widened front bumper configuration and elongated yet tapered rear bumper design reduce drag to Cd 0.27.
-. The GT-R Nismo’s black 6-spoke wheels are inspired by Nissan’s legendary GT500 race car.
-. A unique to the GT-R Nismo model, a Dark Matte Grey has been developed, accentuating the car’s imposing exterior muscularity.
