2014 Porsche Panamera Release Date, Review – Welcome to Neocarsuv.Com, we will provide the latest information about the Porsche Panamera. 2014 Porsche Panamera is one brand new car from Porsche that was released in 2014. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the 2014 Porsche Panamera.

In the realm of premium sports cars, Porsche takes a back seat to no one. But when it comes to back seats, Porsche isn’t the first marque that springs to mind. Every person geeked on cars knows that premium sedans with generously proportioned aft quarters hail from the likes of Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, and BMW. Porsche builds light, agile two-passenger sports cars, right?

Well, you can hold the dachshund-on-wheels quips and the 911-stretch-limo jokes. Porsche is making a tidy profit selling its five-door, four-seat Panamera luxury sedan. Meaning buyers, particularly in China, which is now the Panamera’s largest market, don’t seem to mind the big Porsche’s proportions at all. With its 911-inspired nose and tail, the Panamera stands out in a sea of sedan sameness. Together with the once equally unlikely Cayenne SUV, the two products handily outsell Porsche’s 911, Boxster, and Cayman sports cars worldwide.

2014 Porsche Panamera Release Date

Meanwhile some rumors told that 2014 Porsche Panamera release date will be in late this year. You can get in touch with certified traders of the Porsche to discover out more about the 2014 Porsche Panamera price. There is no purpose why you should be eventually missed when it comes to the high-class and relaxation that comes with Porsche vehicles. This car is made in a way that they will provide you even more than you predicted. We promise that we will update soon after Porsche announces 2014 Porsche Panamera release date.

2014 Porsche Panamera Price

While the power has increased, price surprisingly hasn’t with the Panamera V6 starting at $78,100 and the plug-in model at $99,000. Look for the 2014 Porsche Panamera range to land in showrooms late in the year, and stay tuned for the official debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show on April 19th.

2014 Porsche Panamera Exterior

Identifying the visual tweaks is as tough as a spot-the-difference puzzle. From the front, look for headlights that are rounded rather than angular, a revised “power dome” hood bulge, a flatter fascia, reshaped lower air intakes, new side skirts, and relocated LED running lights. Bi-xenon headlights become standard with full-LED illumination optional. Drivers in slower cars will note new taillights, a different fascia that places the license plate lower and visually widens the rump, a wider and flatter rear window, and a minutely changed curvature to the roofline.

Perhaps the most significant change is the new Executive body style, a nod to the burgeoning market for long-wheelbase luxury cars, particularly in China. With an additional 5.9 inches between the wheels, the Panamera Executive makes Porsche’s luxury liner more competitive against its long-wheelbase German and Japanese peers. Also of note is the new Panamera S E-Hybrid, which does the outgoing S Hybrid one better by providing plug-in functionality with about 20 miles of pure electric driving range. With sales of the electric Tesla Model S picking up steam, the plug-in Porsche’s timing is impeccable.

2014 Porsche Panamera Interior

Porsche announced no updates for the interior, meaning that customers will enjoy the same level of luxury provided by the previous generation. They can choose between a wide range of leather, carbon fiber or Alcantara.

Originally introduced for the 2010 model year, the 2014 Panamera receives a mid-cycle freshening, which is thorough enough that Porsche has decided to dub the car Panamera II. (We will refrain from using this naming scheme, however.) If you thought the Ford F-150 came in every nuance and flavor under the sun, the 2014 Panamera lineup has likewise ballooned to nine models available in two wheelbases and powered by five different engines. There are some appearance updates a more-teardropesque shape to the headlamps, bigger nostrils in the front fascia, a flatter liftgate window, lower mounting for the rear license plate, and revised taillamps but you’d have to be a Panamerologist to notice without the previous-year car alongside for reference.

2014 Porsche Panamera Engine

The V-6 turbo has ample low- and midrange torque, although acceleration feels perhaps a half-second slower to 60 as the otherwise responsive turbos need a moment to spool. Not that nouveau riche execs reclining in business class will notice, but the turbo V-6 lacks some of the delicious rumble, crackle, and pop of the 4.8-liter V-8, replacing them with a slightly shrill whine at higher revs that implies rented Taurus more than purchased Porsche. Like the V-8, the turbo V-6 is available with an optional sport exhaust that at least restores a little engine character. Official EPA estimates are not yet available, but Porsche claims the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 is 18 percent more fuel efficient than the 4.8-liter V-8.

  • 295 lb-ft of torque @ 3,750 rpm.

  • 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 (Panamera S, Panamera 4S).
  • 420 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm.
  • 384 lb-ft of torque @ 1,750-5,000 rpm.
  • EPA city/highway fuel economy: NA.
