2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Review, Price, Specs and Concept – Welcome to Neocarsuv.com, we will provide the latest information about the Alfa Romeo 4C. 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C concept is one brand new car from Afa that was released in 2015. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C.

2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Features

Alfa Romeo had chosen a suitably hip venue in which to showcase the coupe that will mark the brand’s honest-to-God return to the US market – a graffiti-festooned warehouse housing a boutique furniture company in San Francisco’s Mission District. The curvilinear sports car proved a lovely stylistic counterpoint to its concrete and metal backdrop while feeling perfectly synced with the eye-watering square-footage prices of the environs. Where the young, rich, beautiful people gather, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C will be a star.

Many countries can make really fast sports cars, but no country does really beautiful sports cars quite like the Italians. The latest proof comes from Alfa Romeo, which just took the wraps off of its sexy, make that beautiful new 4C Spider at the Geneva auto show.

Now, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C is a dazzling sports-car reincarnation of a heady past, and a future classic in its own right. The Alfa Romeo 4C is the car charged with reviving the Italian brand in America, starting in 2014. It’s a mid-engined two-seater, with a carbon-fiber body, an aluminum suspension, powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch gearbox. It’s a semi-exotic, from just about $55,000 base.

The overhead view is particularly gorgeous, with contours and vents on the rear decklid mimicking the wake of a boat as it slips through the water. It also provides a glimpse into the Spider’s interior, showing off two-tone, saddle-and-black sport seats and much of the 4C’s exposed carbon-fiber tub structure. Other nifty design details include a new center-mount exhaust system with dual carbon-titanium pipes; 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, each milled from a solid block of aluminum; and our favorite covered headlamps that are infinitely prettier than the messy units on the 4C coupe today. Let’s hope that those are adopted by the coupe as soon as possible.

The 4C began life as a concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, and it’s translated almost perfectly to reality. It’s low-slung and outrageously sexy. Alfa says it’s inspired by its Sixties racing efforts and the 33 Stradale, but it bears more than a passing resemblance to Ferrari’s Dino, too. It’s composed entirely of scoops, curves, cat-eyed side glass, round LED taillamps, and Alfa’s trademark beaky overbite. Inside, there’s a stark cabin dotted with red details, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and plastics textured to look like the road surface, intermingled with exposed carbon-fiber surfaces. The gauges are a 7-inch LCD display that changes color according to driving mode.

2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Engine

Power comes from a direct-injected and turbocharged 1.7-liter four-cylinder engine, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It’s a raucous powerplant, better sounding outside than in, and there’s just a touch of turbocharger lag. Each horsepower has only 10.3 pounds to accelerate, given the 4C’s 2,495-pound curb weight, and acceleration is breathtaking, at 4.5 seconds to 60 mph. Top speed is set at 155 mph.

As with the 4C coupe, the Spider is powered by Alfa’s turbocharged 1.7-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. What’s more, Alfa Romeo claims that the Spider’s weight gain has virtually no impact on performance, pegging acceleration from 0 to 62 mph at 4.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 155 mph. Alfa also says that braking, lateral acceleration, and weight distribution (40 percent front/60 rear) remain unaffected. We will have to verify that claim for ourselves a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.
