2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic Review, Price and Release – Welcome to Neocarsuv.Com, we will provide the latest information about the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic Redesign. 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic is one brand new car from Land Rover that will be release in 2014. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic.
Land Rover is introducing the Autobiography name to the Range Rover Evoque for the first time with two new premium derivatives to the line-up for 2015: the luxurious Autobiography tops the range, complemented by the more powerful, more agile Autobiography Dynamic with its 285PS turbocharged engine and optimised chassis for enhanced performance and sharper handling.
Enhancing Land Rover’s existing suite of connected-car technologies, Land Rover InControlTM Apps also debuts across the range. In a world first, InControl Apps enables vehicle-optimised smartphone apps to be displayed and controlled with their original look and feel from the vehicle’s touchscreen. Owners simply download Land Rover InControlTM Apps to their smartphone and connect it to the vehicle’s dedicated USB port to enable compatible apps to function on the Range Rover Evoque’s touchscreen, with new content available every time the apps update.
This new in-car technology complements the Evoque’s existing infotainment system by bringing the convenience and familiarity of iPhone or Android smartphone apps into the owner’s vehicle.
Speaking ahead of the official world premiere for the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography derivatives at the Geneva Motor Show, Murray Dietsch, Director of Land Rover Programmes, said: “The introduction of Land Rover InControlTM Apps together with the new range-topping Autobiography and Autobiography Dynamic derivatives, takes the Range Rover Evoque’s core strengths a step further, bringing increased connectivity, desirability, luxury and dynamic ability to the already successful line-up.”
Land Rover has yet to reveal the Autobiography’s pricing.
The Autobiography and Autobiography Dynamic make a bold design statement with enhanced dynamic body styling, a new premium grille design, lower front valance, jewel-like headlights and tail lamps and 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Autobiography ingot badging on the tailgate and front fender vents provides further visual differentiation. A new and striking premium metallic body colour called phoenix orange also debuts across the Dynamic Evoque derivatives.
Inside, the Autobiography is equipped with a luxurious leather interior in a selection of six colour palettes. Autobiography Dynamic customers can choose from a dynamic plus leather interior with either sports or premium climate seats and a choice of four colours. Headrests feature an Autobiography embossed logo whilst Autobiography illuminated tread plates greet you as you open the door.
“The Range Rover Evoque continues to be applauded for its ground-breaking design,” said Land Rover Design Director & Chief Creative Officer Gerry McGovern. “The new Range Rover Evoque Autobiography is a natural progression, bringing luxury that’s more commonly associated with far larger, more expensive models to a premium compact SUV.”
On the outside, the two Autobiography models are simply a five-door Evoque with a slew of updates that make it look even sexier than it already did. The majority of the changes are rather subtle, and they include a premium front grille, a lower front valence, ingot badging on the tailgate and fender vents and 20-inch forged alloy wheels.
Sure the changes on the outside are not overwhelming, but they are plenty to set it apart on dealer lots.
2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque – Exterior Specifications:
On the inside, the updates included with the Autobiography models are again subtle, but thorough. The base Autobiography model gets leather seating in six different colors to accent the exterior nicely, Autobiography embossed headrests and Autobiography illuminated door sills. The Autobiography Dynamic adds in dynamic leather upholstery with your choice of sports or premium climate seats and four available colors.
Much like the exterior, the Autobiography models do not get massive updates on the inside, but just enough to set them apart.
Under the skin is where a lot of the work took place in the Autobiography lineup. The base Autobiography mode retains the normal 2.0-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 240 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. The Autobiography Dynamic model, on the other hand, gets an extra 45 horsepower and 45 pound-feet of torque to play with, bringing its total to 285 ponies and 295 pounds of twist. Both engines mate to a nine-speed automatic transmission that is more performance tuned than the rest of the Evoque lineup.
The suspension on the Autobiography model remains the same as the rest of the Evoque lineup, but the Dynamic model gets an upgraded suspension system with firmer spring rates, revised dampers and updated geometry for precision handling. The Dynamic’s brakes also get a nice upgrade to 13.8-inch discs up front — a 2-inch increase over the standard Evoque.
